Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create compelling visual content that resonates with our clients and their audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality obituaries, memorial programs, and related materials that honor and reflect the individuality of the deceased.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements, ensuring all designs meet their expectations and our quality standards.
- Develop custom printing solutions, including business cards, brochures, banners, and personalized memorial products.
- Create digital artwork and graphics for various platforms, ensuring consistency with our brand identity.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to handle sensitive content with empathy and professionalism.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the printing industry and knowledge of print production processes.
- Familiarity with web design and digital media.
- Photography skills and experience with photo editing.
